Series seems to be really coming into its own here.
Mat is my current favourite by the end of this book. Liked Perrin's development. Really enjoyed how Rand was a spectre over this whole book and was not very present.

Odd pacing with the Ajah storyline

Is it wrong that I enjoyed the fact Rand is almost a non-presence in this book? This is also the first book where we get any point of view from Mat, and the first time I realized he's my favorite character in this series (so far, at least). I'm still enjoying the series a lot, and I'm looking forward to the rest of it.
