Love, love, loved this book

Drew and Trent, while committed to each other have huge hurdles to get past with the rest of their inner and outer circle when they take their relationship public. Will this attention hurt or help Drew’s career? Or will the pressure to succeed and stay safe be too much for the two? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that I could not put down this book is a must read.

some of the cheesy moments that i ignored in the first book were repeated OVER AND OVER again in this one. i understand that people revel in their love, especially early on in a relationship but the way that these two were mooning over each other was a little nauseating.

and in general i think the lack of true plot/conflict didn't work as well for me. homophobia is certainly conflict but it wasn't enough in this book to drive the entire book idk. still loved drew/trent but the first book was stronger.

Still my fave friends to lovers couple <3 I loved seeing them overcome the haters and bring their relationship out into the open. My heart is a pile of mush for Trent, my big protective softy

It's hard to pick which book I liked best between the first and second in this series! I loved TREWLOVE hahaha :)
I think this book gets a bit of an edge because the sexy time is a bit spicier, but I also quite enjoyed the chapter car facts from book one that didn't happen in this second installment so I guess it's a top up!
This book had it all -- friends to lovers, MM sexy times, laughs, family support and family drama, lots of bigotry unfortunately and loyalty from friends, family and teammates. Loved this book. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a friend's to lovers MM trope.

Absolutely fantastic.
This was way different than the first book. Now it didn't have a lot of car racing and I missed the car facts but it focused on their relationship. The whole conflict was coming to terms with being gay, telling others, and dealing with homophobia. Of course still with an adorable relationship and charm.

Being a pansexual girl who LOVES Lgbt+ books. I really loved the exploration of sexuality. I related to dealing with homophobia and feeling different. If you're just looking for a gay smutty romance. This is that and much more. You don't see a lot of books exploring gay relationships with much seriousness. We need more books with gay relationships not to fetishize or kill off. This book made sure to show how these men weren't just their label. They weren't different than any other man. They just loved men. Such a good message and characters.

There were moments when I wanted to cry with happiness also this was SO funny. So many good quotes. I loved this book. Also it showed them more depth than the last book.

This starts right up where [b:#Junkie|27824473|#Junkie (GearShark, #1)|Cambria Hebert|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1447443549s/27824473.jpg|47804370] left off and satisfies the cliffhanger right away. But that doesn't mean that everything is all sunshine and roses from there. There is still plenty of drama to go around and I loved every second of it!!!! I love Drew and Trent and their growing relationship. Even though this story weighs in at over 500 pages, it flew by and was so much fun. There were tears, laughs, romance, some hot smexing, and yes, plenty of french fries! The secondary characters are all amazing and even though I am pretty much exclusively M/M at this point, they make me want to go back and read their stories! I am definitely a fan of Cambria Hebert now!
