as far as Greek retellings go, this book pushes the boundaries. I wish this book was better than it was because the CONCEPT is absolutely fascinating, but the overall execution is underwhelming.

Persephone and Hades but call them Essos and Daphne? Yes please!!

I knew Galen was gonna be a SOB! I KNEW IT!! I was surprised to see Zara wasn't in on anything, but glad she was a friend. Cat and Finn are A1 best friends.

This book is screaming trust your gut and heart. Sis knew, she knew Galen was trouble and felt her love for Essos and still fell for the trap. I hope she roasts Galens maniacal ass.
