I did really enjoy the story although I must say, the middle part was too slow paced for me. Nothing really happened that couldn't have been explained in less pages yet still being understandable for the plot!

I really enjoyed not knowing who is the prince and who is the assassin till far into the story though because when I tell you just HOW wrong I was guessing all the time!

Apart from the middle part k really enjoyed it and I'm curious as to see where the next book is gonna go!

Someone recommended Dance of Thieves to me a while ago, and I finally decided to read them but I wanted to do it right. I decided to read the Remnant Chronicles first for better understanding later on.

This book was a little slow to begin with, but it definitely picked up. I liked trying to figure out who was the assassin and who was the prince, however it didn’t really drag on which was nice. Overall the characters were intriguing and I enjoyed this book. I think the rest of the series will be a lot more fast paced though.

I really liked this book though cliffhangers kill me. It was kind of hard to follow who was who since it didn’t explicitly tell you until the reveal which I felt like made it harder to follow which guy was doing what. I’ll definitely be continuing this series. The First Daughters thing confused me for the longest time. I thought it was a royalty thing, but its just an every family thing. I felt like it would have been better if things were laid out in the beginning a little better.
