Such a cute book!!! I love books about books. Characters felt so homey if that makes sense :)

This book had a good premise but the execution was poor. The characters relationship was sooo undeveloped and by the time they actually get together the book ends, no epilogue or anything which is strange considering we have no idea how Noah’s secret coming out will go. The main character was also annoying and honestly there was not much chemistry between the two whatsoever. Noah and Lanie knew each other for 7 years through email and like that 7 year relationship was barely described and considering how trusting Noah was of Lanie from the beginning shows that the 7 years was an important aspect of them coming together. Also, I really don’t understand why it was such a big deal that Noah is a man, seems a bit backwards to me, a good book is a good book regardless of the gender of the author. I don’t understand why the main character villainized him so much for HER own wrong assumption!!! The whole thing was very rushed feeling and quite disappointing not to mention the several plot holes regarding the grandmother… truly disappointing and honestly so over books about authors and editors. Overall I’m truly unsure of what Noah saw in Lanie, and there were way too many loose ends left unexplained
