America is also an interesting character, even though she fell in love with two guys at the same time. She has every quality to be a queen that she doesn't even know. Aspen shows too many soft sides in this one and i don't like him very much. Is there anyone else here who thinks that Aspen and America did nothing together besides kissing and cuddling? To me, the chemistry between Maxon and America is so much more beautiful.
On the whole, this is a great story but i don't think i can remember having read it in about 10 more years.

2012- Really makes me think of a book version of the bachelor. Not sure how I feel about it.
2023- still the book version of the bachelor. Lol. And I only watch that show for the easy laughs. I’m glad the rest of the series is written now- so I’ll just read the rest and see how the season ends.

I have never rolled my eyes so much while listening to a book. This isn't a life-altering read but fun. Our heroine just can't make up her mind and when she finally seems to decide what she wants, she seems to still be hanging on to her old boyfriend...why because he's reliable, familiar, and adores her. There are times she really gets on my last nerve but still I can't "put the book down". (I'm actually listening to it).
I enjoyed the book. Not sure if I was supposed to but I did. I've actually finished the second and I'm starting the 3rd) Gotta see how it all ends.
