Dafuq did I just read? This ain't dark, it's vanta black. Author is talented but story is way too disturbing.
So I took a night so that I could really think about this review. I have settled on 4 starts, but really I think this is closer to a 4.5 star book.
OBSESSED
The main character was so well-written that I didn't mind going on this ride with her. I might have even understood her quest. Although wrong, she made me believe in her. Although twisted, I gave her grace. Although hurt, I just wanted her to heal. Also I love that she sings Ring Around the Rosie considering her mission...Just a perfect song for this character to sing!
This book is not for the faint of heart. The scenes are told with graphic detail, at times I even had to question what I read. Her 'Henchmen' Mortis, Timothy, Jackal & Cronus are also well written which makes you understand their bond.
SPOILERS
So that ending right....I am still thinking about it and makes me wonder what if anything of the last "play" scene was real. I love the fact that at the end of the book, I feel for her while also questioning what I just read.
Also, I love the idea that her "psychosis" allows her to see the world in a way the "normal" people are too afraid to. Lastly, I love that in the end we are left to wonder about the Dr.
All in all a well-written, well-thought-out book and I can't wait to read more from this author.

IN SIBBY WE TRUST
Sibby is my favorite character in the entire cat and mouse universe. I love how unhinged and unfiltered she is. She does and says as she pleases and she doesn’t care who’s watching.
It was really neat to see Sibby and Zade’s meeting from Sibby’s point of view and I loved seeing her interactions with her “henchmen” that we didn’t get to see in Haunting and Hunting. As insane as she is she’s genuinely so empathetic of the people around her and I love that.
AND THAT ENDING. Don’t get me started.
As much as I do love Sibby and this book is still a favorite, it does read like a wattpad fanfic. A little choppy and at some points felt kind of rushed. But fuck it, Sibby is my girl.

I was excited to read this after Haunting Adeline. Sibby was a very interesting character, and I thought this book would be her story. Instead, it's mostly murder and adult content. I felt there was no plot and not much was revealed. The two chapters that provided flashbacks were the only interesting part of the story. I wish there would have been more of that. I was extremely disappointed in this book.
I really don’t know what to say or think other than wtf?
