Sibby is such an intriguing character. So much so that I read through this book in ONE. SITTING.
Trust me. It was worth it.
After reading Haunting and Hunting, I couldn't wait to dive into Sibby's story. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
Granted, read the trigger warnings first! Many people may be uncomfortable with this story, but I loved it.
Especially the plot twist at the end with Dr. Rosie. I DID NOT EXPECT THAT.

Perfect backstory
I happened to read the Cat and Mouse duology before I came across this novella. Sibby was a weird one in the Cat and Mouse books, but I was intrigued by her. This book offers a lot of her backstory and her "judgments" while traveling with Satan's Affair. I feel that this was a great prequel to the Cat and Mouse books as Zade shows up in this book as well and aligns part of the story from Haunting Adeline.

This little prequel of haunting adeline was pretty good in my opinion. It follows Sibby and how she came to be who she is today. If you’re looking for a book that is a bit messed up, super dark with a handful of triggers and a ton of smut….this is the book for you. Tons and tons of gore, hacking and slashing.
