Sibby!!!

i loved sibby in Haunting and Hunting Adeline, this just makes me love her more. i do wish i read this before the Cat and Mouse Duo tho

I'm usually not someone who reads books with smut (I know weird, but it's just not my thing). I couldn't book this down though. The story line was kept me so intrigued! Sibby is CRAZY AF! Can't wait to ready Haunting Adeline next!

This book changed my brain chemistry. Its hard to read at points and really pulls and your heart strings for the main character. Its brutal and hot and crazy all bundled into one

2.5 I loved Sibby since she was introduced in Haunting Adeline, she is such an insane bitch and doesn’t give one fuck, I mean yes she is actually insane but like her unhingedness and out of pocket comments would crack me up so bad

Actually had a lot of fun with this???? The concept and setting were entertaining, and I was rooting for the MC.
The twist that they were mannequins got me, unexpected

“I’m not crazy!” I screech. I take a deep, calming breath and arrange the smile back on my face. “I’m just passionate.”

So I read this after the "cat and mouse" duet which I was not in love with. I did like Sibby though so I read this novella and it  did not disappoint. She was my favorite character from those books. It was interesting to hear her backstory though it was obviously going to be sad. Some of it does occur at the same time as Haunting. It is heavy on the smut and Sibby brand humor and violence.

“Flowers can’t survive in a place like this.”

Okay, so I had heard of this book and it being affiliated with Haunting/Hunting Adeline but decided to go ahead and read Haunting Adeline as I was given both Haunting and Hunting back in September 2024 for my birthday. I figured they are labeled as I and II on the spines...sooo, why not right?!?

WELL...I made if maybe 25% into Haunting Adeline when the first mention on "Satan's Affair" happened and I was like...WHOA...I stopped reading it immediately and thanks to KU I was able to download and read Satan's Affair right away before resuming Haunting Adeline. I am so glad that I read it before finishing Haunting Adeline!!

I am sure that if you never read Satan's Affair you will never know what you are missing out on, but if you do read it then you really know the back story and really get to meet and understand Sibby <3
