These books are excellent. Yes, they focus on different characters, but I love how they pick up the last left off with that character. In this case, the story is about Hawk and KiKi. I love how the characters in this book are from two different worlds but still find the MC club a family. Lots of stuff hit the fan in this ok and of course, not all of it get resolved. But Hawk and Kiki do work out happily despite their reservations. The brotherhood is full force in this book. It definitely includes explicit content and even maybe a trigger subject in the middle of the book. It isn’t described, but it is there for the reader to understand and does affect the conclusions of this book.

Going through this series quickly with Anyplay. Addicted to this author. Loving thr MC family vibe. Males are full on alpha’s, making me laugh out loud and loving them and the biker stories at the same time. Sometimes to much sex but oh well

There is something about the magic of this MC that keeps me coming back for more. I want to say it's the writing of Jeanne St James, as it 's so well developed, the story flows so well, the heat, passion, and suspense hooking me in. But moreover, I think it's that feeling of comfort and protectiveness I feel when listening to the story that envelopes me into their world. This story of Hawk and Kiki pulled me in from the start. The two are from completely different worlds, Hawk running the bar and Kiki the new lawyer for the club. There should be no attraction, let alone a budding relationship, but it is inevitable that these two will be together. Their chemistry from the first meeting is so strong, it's impossible not to feel. But is passion enough to keep them together? There is so much intensity, both with Hawk and Kiki, and the impending danger the rival MC, the Warriors bring to the story, it kept me intrigued and listening. And just when I thought Zack...I mean Jag...was my favorite, now Hawk has weasled his way into my heart and made me love him. All he has to say is "Got me?" and I am hooked! Another hot, passionate and thrilling listen and I can't wait for the next in the series!

This dual narration by Ava Lucas and Tor Thom is so good, it was almost impossible to stop listening. Ava brings her sultry voice to Kiki, giving her the spunk to keep up with Hawk yet, it gives her a vulnerable sexiness too. Tor adds his seductive baritone to Hawk and all is lost. He add the perfect mix of gruffness and passion making Hawk utterly irresistible. This team is perfect for this couple!

This book had my emotions in overdrive. Hawk, the badass biker and Kiki the prim and proper lawyer are from two separate worlds. Their instant attraction and hot as hell sexual encounters keep the two coming back to each other for more. But when a horrific kidnapping and assault put Kiki in danger will Hawk walk away knowing he is not in her class? Or will their relationship bloom into a connection that cannot be denied? With beautifully written characters and a storyline that had me going from laughter to tears, once again, Jeanne St. James writes a book that cannot be missed. I cannot get enough of her writing.

Wow this was quite the book. I absolutely love Jeanne and her writing. This one is on the top of the list. The whole series is for that matter. But this is one of them that I could easily read over and over again. The good girl going for the guy that is totally her opposite and out of her league. But in the end they both realize that opposites explode when they are together. I enjoyed reading about Hawk he is quite the character. There were a few moments in this storyline that had me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to climb into the book and make sure that everyone was ok. It was exciting to say the least. But Jeanne blew me away with this one. As she does with every single one of her books. I cant wait until I can read the next one in this series.

F’loved it!

This one kept me on my toes, at the edge of my seat, awake until I finished. Very raw, gritty, emotional.

Quick Thoughts: This was a tough read at times (she warns you) but so well done! I would say this one had the most emotional range. I am really looking forward to the stories to come! Particularly Bella and hopefully Jazz (I haven't read the blurbs to know who is coming up)
