I can't even recall how I came to purchase this--it must have been a daily deal and offered very cheap. At least, that's what I'm telling myself to get over the fact that I apparently spent money on it. Very disappointing read. Interesting-ish premise, but with largely indistinguishable, unremarkable characters which made for a very dull and predictable read, even for a romance.

Deliciously goofy, full of dogs, and exactly what I needed today.

Hilariously fun and sexy!! I love the disclaimer at the beginning (forgive me if I spell this wrong) about, "There never was a Kamani Gula, and nobody ever worshipped her. We made it up. It's fiction. We can do that. "
I love Jennifer's books for their fun, their suspense, and their action. This one was actually about three women, and it was co-written by three different women who I will also have to look up here on Goodreads!

I really loved the premise of this book. It had a tendency to be a bit slow at times, but the characters were wonderfully written and in the end it was a fun, enjoyable read.

They were constantly baking or talking about baking, so I just had to make cookies when I finished it! Yum.
