I'm now feeling a lot more confident about a part of parenting that I was quite anxious about. My child is only 19 months, but starting to look ready, so I'll keep watching and waiting as suggested in this book. I found some of the tips for getting started really useful and the whole approach seems very calm and friendly. I also liked all the practical information about being physiologically ready. The questions from parents section helped me feel like my uncertainty is so normal too, and that there will be a solution if we run into any trouble. I will see how it goes and maybe change my rating depending on how it all goes.
