Yeah, nope. Too heady for me. I can take a lot of weird choices in a book, but this one was just too much for my brain to handle. I understand and appreciate what Beckett was doing here, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, right?

I had to read this for a seminar on subjectivity, and it was pretty good. It’s a faster story about a subject trapped in the “oceanic” feeling that Freud had once described. The subject pushes through several stories in order to try and find which one belongs to him, which ends in the reader wondering what’s the truth and what’s just another block of a random story that won’t belong to him in the end anyways.

Pretty sure it‘s genius but neither did I understand nor did I really enjoy. I think I‘ll have to let it sit for a while and read it again afterwards. I‘ll also read the whole trilogy next time.

Whew. The hardest thing I've ever read, and maybe the best
