This edition has two short stories. I liked ‘The End’ much better than ‘The Calmative’. I think the translation had something to do with that too. (Not the same translator.)

The three Dialogues on art eloquently give Beckett's theory on the purpose of art with a touch of Beckett's humor. Genius.
