Stock characters and hastily wrapped up endings.

An Alex Cross episode where men in the Army who served in Viet Nam are being framed for murders. This is not the best of the series. It does move, though it seems a little stiff. Yet it ends on a happy note.

This was a really good book. Finally in book 8 we get to see Sampsons character grow a little bit. There was one point during the gun battle with the blind mice that I thought Sampson was dead and I was upset. How could Patterson kill him after he started to focus on him. But I was wrong he ended up saving Cross's life

Another great read, my heart was in my mouth for a minute or two when Nana Mama was sick and Sampson got shot, fortunately it all ended well, including Sampson finding love!

I usually breeze through James Patterson's books with no problem but I had a hard time getting through this one. I couldn't get into the story. It's was an okay read. I've read better.
