I'm glad that I finally found this play after seeing the same scene done in stage combat over and over again. It's a great insight into marriage and intimacy and what happens with those things are over. I loved the dialogue and its the ebbs and flows. No one is the good guy and no one is the bad guy. Everything is gray area, much like every day relationships.

Re-read to teach this semester in my directing class. Even better than I remembered.

Wonderful play and this is a very solid audio version. I probably like the tv film with Dennis Quaid etc. more but this is still a production of the highest quality.

Characters are good and the idea of friendship as a kind of vow is interesting; ultimately found the mid-life marriage crisis not so interesting. Lotta characters are bad listeners!

Audiobook gave me the next best thing to being able to see it performed live. It was the original cast and everything. This is only the second play I've "seen" by Margulies (the first was Time Stands Still which I did get to see on Broadway and was amazing) but I look forward to listening to the other audiobook available of his and reading even more of his plays.
