I’ve already given a full review of this book on another edition. I’d only like to say for the audiobook version, I really wish they had two different narrators (one for Oliver and one for Gavin) like all the other Bergman Brothers audiobooks do. Every once in a while, I’d miss hearing whose POV it was and would spend the next couple minutes using context clues to figure it out.

Skipped the middle 50% because I was so, so bored. These two have no chemistry and there was no commitment to the premise.

Honestly, at this point, I'm basically hate-reading this series - except I don't actually hate it but I don't like it either. Like indifferent-reading. Everything For You was odd. It's an enemies to lovers story but we start 2 years in and Liese doesn't really give us anything except the fan fiction-Roy Kent is grumpy. Oliver Bergman is a soccer star and he and Roy are assigned to be co-captains, but they don't like each other (but also jk, they're horny af for each other). Then they go on a plane and share a hotel room, where, oops! There's only one bed!™️ Then if you were like, "what else happens?" I would honestly say, "not much." Roy's in pain and has to retire, Oliver has anxiety, and they're in love but there's a wierd excuse about why they can't be together and then it's fine - they're endgame. There was a lot more Bergman siblings in this one - I think because there wasn't a lot going on story-wise? And I think the reason I'm annoyed with this series is because it feels like everyone's personality revolves around whatever neurodivergent condition they have. Five books in, it just seems like Liese is going down a list of conditions and filling these characters in. Anyway, it's a book and I didn't actively hate it so, 3/5⭐️

I’m so sorry i really wanted to fall head over heels for them but this book was just so… not special.
The bergmans are not for me i suppose.

Enemies to lovers with a little soccer and a slight age gap. What’s not to enjoy? I’m a sucker for Liese’s books though, you get all the feels and laughter plus a cute romantic story. This book told the story of Oliver and Gavin, both were hurt and pieced themselves together the best they knew how. They found each other and found that their two broken halves fit to make a whole (with a family included). An HEA to boot.

One of the best Grumpy vs Sunshine books I have ever read because the story explored why these 2 men chose to present themselves that way to the world.
2 elite sportsmen: 1 at the end of his career and 1 on his trajectory to the top.
Representation of chronic pain and panic attacks on the page.
A really special story develops as they find trust, and love, and support with each other.
