4 Stars Chloe Liese for the story
5 Stars Tim Paige narration
Didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the story, although there were many characters to try to keep track of, especially since this was not the first book in a series about 7 siblings, or was it 6? Cant remember but it seems like they all appeared in this story, with their SO's and some had children, so yeah, lots of names and side stories. There were some moments where I was like, ok lets move this along and there seemed to be some set up for the next book with a different sibling happening in this book, which took me out of the story a bit, but overall I didn't mind. I really liked the narration by Tim Paige.

I already loved Oliver from the previous Bergman brothers books so it was really great to get to know him better in this one and he is just the best. I liked the story with this and I generally like an enemies to lovers/ grumpy sunshine but I found Gavin suddenly going from a guy terrified of meeting someone and starting the next phase of his life to immediately being besotted and ready for commitment way too difficult to believe.
Sunshine & Grump but make it MM
I had to force myself to make this book last for more than one day. I really enjoyed the Ted Lasso vibes and, as always, this author writes characters that are so REAL and relatable. Anxiety, chronic pain, family, found family, fear of the future, friendship (real friends!), men that show their feelings without shame or over-explanation...all of this AND good dialogue. Two more Bergmans left - I’m looking forward to finding out who’s next!

Good portrail of chronic pain, toxic optimism, generalized anxiety disorder, and how they all complicate starting a new relationship after being heartbroken.

Amazing! I love the soccer aspects to this book, I thought that part was really well written and it made for an intriguing plot. Not my favorite Bergman brothers book mostly for the age gap aspect, however I do believe this book had the best banter. I was laughing out loud during certain scenes in this book (ex: the coffee scene, iykyk). I am so sad that I only have two more books in this series, but I am super excited to read them!
