Disappointing sequel to an amazing book :(
I feel like 60% of this book is just violence so… yeah not for me

Audiobook - In some ways, I enjoyed this book more than the first book - in others, I really disliked it. The actual plot is interesting enough, if not a little slow. However, the whole thing is interspersed with arguments and conflicts between the two main characters that started off okay but got boring really fast. Also, Tris becomes almost unbearable as a quirky main character, all self-deprecating and cannot see anything beyond herself at times.

I had the feeling I wouldn't like the second book as much as the first one because the most fun part (the training) was completed. And I was right. But I still liked the plot a lot. It didn't drag at all, so much was happening. Sometimes maybe a little too much, too fast. But I really liked how you discovered the different fractions in ... different ways. I especially loved the more sciency, logical part and Tris' curiosity. Liked the twists, the predictable and the surprising ones. And the ending really made me curious for the third book. But I was soooooo disappointed in Tris and Four and too annoyed too often. At least Tris' development was undestandable for the most part. But Four was so different from book 1. He felt like a totally different character. And this really had a huge impact on my overall enjoyment of the book.
