this was such a short and easy read , i read it in one sitting , i adored the two main characters , i was a bit annoyed as she was really like trusting towards her crush and some parts didn't really add up , BC MS GIRL GOT A WHOLE ASS TATTOO and she only got grounded ??? girl my mom would have taken away my rights to everything and anything and most probably disown me.

anyways , the TAYLOR SWIFT REFERENCES. if you know me , im a whole sucker for books when there's a taylor reference , and also jason is a real one for liking taylor swift and HE IS OBSESSED WITH HER. willing to listen to her talk about taylor swift for hours and also frustrated love confessions >>>>> , i nearly died when he just blurted out his love , BWEWEBEIRU

”Dating is highly overrated. And it definitely isn’t fun.”

My Epic Spring Break (Up) is such a cute and sweet YA contemporary romance that brings me back to my early days of reading YA books mixed with the reality of now. Though it may be simple, it was a really fun read and I would definitely pick it up to break a slump or something.

This book tells the story of Ashley, who dreams to be an intern at a famous social media company called ZigZag. She has a best friend named Jason, who is quite famous on ZigZag too because of his prank videos. Ashley has been fawning over Walker Beech since day 1 but is he the perfect guy that she expects or does she actually have feelings for someone else?

This was an amazing book to read on my first days of spring break! It was cute, fun, and fluffy read which I wanted since I wanted to add one more book for the month of March. Ashley was such a great character and I saw a lot of myself in her with the way she acts in school and her drive. I could tell from the start that her and Walker wouldn't work out because he tried to change her in so many ways and really was an unlikable character the more I read of him. Jason, on the other hand, was so dynamic and had two very different personas, with his true self shining through when with Ashley. Their friendship was so pure and wonderful that when they both admitted their feelings, it was perfect and inevitable! I also loved the aspect of coding as it's something that I've found myself really enjoying in stories and I love the representation of girls and women in STEM.

Favorite Quote: "It's what makes you you. So don't ever try to change yourself."

I really enjoyed this book. It was a cute, quick book to read. I felt like it was “oh, teenage love”, in a good way! I would definitely recommend this book!
