Uplifting book. Repetitive but still sweet. More Law of attraction; Love & Gratitude create happiness. Think positive...what you think creates how you feel... about Rainbows, Thunder, Rain... it was a cute easy read. I enjoyed it much more than the Secret.
A little bit repetitive, but I think that is probably necessary to help form the new habits of positive thinking and love. Kind of like affirmations.
I don't want to say too much, but I highly recommend this book. Despite all of my skepticism, my life has actually noticeably improved since putting this book into practice. It is incredible. I still kind of don't believe it. I feel really hopeful for the first time in over a decade.
Much love and gratitude to the author and anyone who contributed to it.

Too much like The Secret. No real new information.
I read The Power with a group of people over the course of several months and was surprised by the number of times I found what we were reading directly related to my life, and offered me a different way of looking at things. It would be easy to blow through this book quickly, but I think it is well worth the time to read it in small chunks to let it soak in.

“If you feel disappointment that you don’t have the money to travel, then on the subject of travel you are feeling disappointment. Feeling disappointment means you’re on the disappointment frequency and you’ll continue to receive disappointing circumstances in which you cannot travel until you change the way you feel.”
What? That’s not how life works…
If you enjoyed the above quote then go ahead and read. If you have a brain and would like to keep it, do not bother with this book.
Out of the 60+ books I’ve read this year, this is the first I’ve had to stop as it is so ridiculous. The way this author goes about having a positive mindset on life is taken to the extreme, to the point where you feel gaslighted.
I spent 1 hour listening to the audiobook and the same thing was repeated over and over again: if you have bad thoughts you’ll had bad feelings, and the universe will give you bad circumstances. And vice versa. Essentially victim blaming and saying the only reason why someone has bad things happen to them is because they have negative thoughts.
Not only is the idea taken to the extreme, but the writing quality is terrible. The consistent repetition of the same words and rephrasing/summarising ideas over and over to the point where there is no new ideas after the first five minutes.
