for me, this book is not one to read in one sitting. it’s a series of interviews ruminating on what love is, means, and how it has shifted in aftermath of the interviewees’ lives. i think the structure as well as the questions asked can get a bit repetitive, hence why i don’t recommend reading this in one sitting.

but i had highlighted so many good quotes that gave me food for thought. all sections were pretty strong, but it was the last part regarding loss that really struck a chord with me and made me emotional.

i enjoyed the author’s input but i felt her transitions between interviews with her thoughts were a bit short. i think she’s a great writer and i wish we got more insight from her inbetween about the interviews and how it affected her! i do appreciate how diverse her interviewees were though. i read this on e-book but i may purchase a physical copy to revisit the quotes that really stood out to me :)
