I am like 97% sure that this was a fan fiction that was changed enough to be printed. That being said I love fan fiction and didn’t have a problem with this. It’s about what you’d expect given the plot description and will leave you questioning how on earth the characters have the stamina to keep going at it (seriously if they’re not doing it, they’re thinking about doing it). I read it for a fun time and it delivered. (Although did I really need to know the flavored lube’s thoughts? iykyk) Also? As a former stage manager, the blatant  lack of concern for the costumes was lowkey upsetting enough to take me out of the moment. The characters feel a little flat at times, but again that’s probably not why you’re reading it.  It’s got enough Christmas and sexy charm to make it worthwhile and it lets me live out my dating my dreams of dating the rockstar I was obsessed with as a teen.

Very sex positive and talk a lot about porn industry, entertainment industry, fat phobia. But it’s too much sex I would like to see more personality and story line

The overall vibes of this book was too confusing. It was trying really hard to be cozy/Hallmark-y but at the same time it wasn’t. The female heroine wasn’t very likable. It seems like the authors tried very hard to make the hero likable(especially with his family backstory), but I found him also unpleasant.
As a reader, I’ve come to realize that I don’t care for behind-the-scenes books. This could be books set in reality shows, cooking competitions, and now books about movies being made. It seems like storylines with these plot points are boring/ frustrating to me.
