This book was truly okay. The story is endearing but the writing was mid to me. Robert and Francesca are ultimately just two u-haul lesbians and good for them I guess lol

In a universe of ambiguity, this kind of certainty comes only once, and never again, no matter how many lifetimes you live.
لاحظت شي غريب ، في الماضي عند قراءة رواية كلاسيك كنت اندمج بالتفاصيل الصغيرة ، خصوصا تفاصيل الاماكن الي تدور فيها الاحداث سواء الظلمة او نور الشمس ، الحرارة او برودة الجو ، سكون او هدير الرياح ، صوت العصافير او السكون التام ، هذي التفاصيل كانت تخليني اعيش الجو لأبعد حد ، لكن الروايات الحديثة سريعة الوصف لهذي الأمور ، يهتمون اكثر في شرح المشاعر و الحالة النفسية للشخصية طوال سير الاحداث ، يعني تكون رواية سريعة النمط حتى لو احداثها تمشي بترتيب بطيء ، و هذا يتماشى بشكل كبير مع نمط الحياة السريعة الي نعيشها في الوقت الحالي
رواية جسور مقاطعة ماديسون رواية قديمة ، وتعتبر كلاسيك في زمنا الحالي ، كانت بطيئة الاحداث نوعا ما ، كثيرة الشرح و الوصف للجسور و مظهرها مع بداية شروق الشمس وانعكاس الالوان و درجة الحرارة في ذاك الوقت وطريقة عمل المصور و حمله لآلات التصوير و الحامل الثلاثي و انعكاس الالوان ، كانت نوعا ما رتيبة بالنسبة لي والرتابة للأسف تسبب الملل ، فكانت ممله لدرجه انها ضلت على الرف اشهر قبل لا اكملها ، لكن من وصلت للنص تقريبا لقيتها خلصت بأقل من ساعتين
مو عارفة اعبر عن شعوري مع هذي الرواية بصراحة ، مو قادرة افهم مشاعري ، في البداية كانت ملل ، بعدها الرواية حلوه بس مافيها شي مميز ، و بالاخير بكي ودموع و استنزاف مشاعر
الرواية بطيئة صحيح لكن مليئة بالأحاسيس و المشاعر لشيء مو فاهمته صراحة لأني ما عشته ابدا بس احساسه وصلني بشكل كبير، رواية مليئة بالحب و الاشتياق و المسؤولية و نظرة المجتمع ، مليئة بالتناقضات بين الصح المغلف بالعذاب بنفس الوقت والخطأ المغلف بالعسل والحلاوة
