A View From The Bridge was... good. The fact that I don't really have much to say about it pretty much sums up the book. Everything is placed in a nice little package for you with no questions asked or received at the end.

There’s some homophobia in there.

I really enjoyed this play while reading it, it was very intense, which is a good thing, and the stakes were immediately super high. I liked the social commentary, I felt for all the people involved. But at the end I have to say, all the little uncomfortable things that were left half unsaid throughout came to a head, and it’s not like I didn’t like it, but it was a tiny bit jarring. Nevertheless, this was very reminiscent of tennessee williams, lots of shock value, shining the spotlight on the struggles of immigrants etc. Definitely one that makes you think.
