I can't say enough about this series. It simply is one of THE BEST SERIES I HAVE EVER READ! I was blown away by the characters, plot, romance, everything that makes up this trilogy is FANTASTIC! Everything from the previous books comes to a head in this final installment, as the answers we have been looking for are finally revealed. The most romantic love stories (and yes, there are several!) are interwoven with an intricate plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat dying to know what happens next! I loved the ending, it was everything and more!!!! I have a total book hangover, and I know I will be thinking about these books for days to come.

”I’m so afraid my touch will scare you away. But I’m So. Fucking. Selfish. Because it doesn’t matter whether you need my love anymore…” He released a sob and so did she.
“Because I need to love you.” Drawing in a ragged breath, he shrugged. “It’s all I know,” he whispered. Luke reached into her chest, pulled out her heart, and said, “If I can’t have it, no one can have it.”

favorite book in the series. wow. so excited to read one but i really don’t want to read out of love, i love a certain character way too much. i have to though since because of her is coming soon, never struggled this much in my life.

There are certain books that strike some chord in you soul, some words which have the ability to rip your soul well this book clearly had those elements. Every character whether protagonist or antagonist were not pure evils but rather victims of circumstances and time

" Jessica frowned. “Mickey and Sunny …” She sighed. What could she say? So many lives had been affected because one day, many years ago, little Knox McGraw met a giggling angel in red Mary Janes on the playground.
“My mother once said, ‘Love is reckless because true emotions are immune to logic. The most beautiful love stories are often the most tragic.’”

“Mmm …” Dr. Harper smiled. “Your mother told you the story of her life in just two sentences.”

This lines contains volume of emotion that cannot be conveyed or expressed. I dearly thank the writer to have written such a 'adorable' book with contumacious characters

Have mercy

I think begging for mercy in this case is futile. The tear tracks, dried salted rivers, and puffy red eyes prove Jewel E. ANN held nothing back.

Dawn of Forever is ALL THE THINGS!!!!!!!! All your lost hope, heartache, and fear have been gathered, sorted, and released into this book. The story of Jillian Knight is t-boned by Jessica Day's past. The wreckage is gruesome with it's brutality and lifelessness. But don't count them out yet...
The Days and Knights have a whole lot of hurt in store. They also have an amazing future.

I sobbed hard and then I cried. At some point, the tears stopped and my smile bloomed like a rainbow. The Jack and Jill series is over but they will forever hold my heart!

The Jack and Jill series has been on my TBR for too long and I’m almost embarrassed, I know I’m mad at myself, because I shouldn’t have waited to read this.

Dawn of Forever is the third book in this series, and it picks up right where Middle of Knight left us, Jillian struggling, Jackson facing his inner demons and their world imploding. The range of emotions that I went through reading this book is nothing short of insane, from laughing to crying to blushing this book does it all and does it with Jewel’s usual style and grace.

This is the last book in this trilogy, but it isn’t the last book in this world, which I am thrilled about! I can’t wait to dive right back in.

I’ve said this more than once, but DO NOT sleep on this series, go grab them and read them all!

“I want to be your everything, but only while I’m here. If the day comes that I’m not, then let me go. Let me be your greatest memory.”
I’ve been singing the praises of the Jack & Jill series ever since I took a chance on [b:End of Day|25109543|End of Day (Jack & Jill, #1)|Jewel E. Ann|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1447963649l/25109543._SY75_.jpg|44802990], the amazingly unique first book in the trilogy. It’s incredibly hard to maintain that level of excellence throughout a series though, and—I’ll admit it—I’m a difficult reader to please. I braced myself for disappointment with Dawn of Forever. I threw down the gauntlet, daring Jewel E. Ann to impress me again, and wouldn’t you know she picked it up and ran with it? Jewel E. Ann has pulled off the virtually impossible by creating not one, not two, but three full-length novels of exceptional quality.
“Someday you’ll fall in love and it will brand your heart forever. And if life keeps you apart, you may invite others into your heart, but it will never truly be theirs. One stamp. One person.”
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Jewel’s storytelling it’s that she tends to lull the reader with humorous banter before destroying our emotions. Here though, the first couple chapters set the tone for the rest of the book and let you know right off the bat that this is going to be an angst-filled story.

The plot unfolds from the viewpoint of Jillian/Jessica, Jackson/Jude, Luke, and Ryn, as once again, the story flips back and forth between past and present. Jackson has always been a bit of an enigma, but we finally discover the circumstances that drove him to be the messed up manwhore he used to be. All our preconceptions are challenged as Jewel throws the reader into one shocking revelation and twist after another. That’s not to say there aren’t lighthearted and romantic moments. Jessica’s argyle teasing, Ryn’s mojo, Luke’s Post-It notes, and Jackson’s irreverent humor provide wonderful levity.
“I got a tattoo on my penis and it’s infected. I fear it’s going to fall off. Hopefully not during the wedding.”
She giggled. “Shut up.”
He smiled.
“What did you get tattooed on your penis?”
“Open wide.”
Yes, I may have cursed Jewel E. Ann a few times for gutting me, but this is primarily a gorgeous love story featuring endearing, wonderfully imperfect, complex characters. Dawn of Forever is touching, gritty, sexy, suspenseful, and utter perfection. It’s a satisfying end to a truly spectacular trilogy. I can’t recommend the Jack & Jill series highly enough.

A New Day, A New Kind of Forever

Dawn of Forever is the final book in the Jack and Jill series and it’s not without heartbreaking revelations and painful long awaited truths revealed. It’s not easy to have a series about the same main characters that keeps the momentum throughout all books. To have you crave every word, experience the emotions as if they were your own, lust to know how it will all end. From book one to the last, I devoured every single word and by the end of each book all I itched for was more, more, and more. But, seems like that’s just the norm for any book by Jewel E. Ann. The journey for the Knight/Day twins hasn’t been an easy one to say the least but no matter what happens these two are always determined for them both to make it to the end of the day even if there’s not a promise for another.

4.5 "I so badly want to recommend this to my friends but have no idea how I will explain this to them" stars

choosing to review this at the end of book 3 because this series was a straight binge. like many other reviews, "end of day" was confusing and slow to get into, but as soon as it all started to align in my brain I knew I had to read on. at first I was not a fan of the POV these books were written in, but after thinking about it a bit deeper I think that it needed to be that way to keep the organization of the characters/to be able to take on more POV's. middle of knight is when the overarching story really picks up speed, which leads us to dawn of forever...

the GOOD
- the pacing of the flashbacks of all three of these books was done so brilliantly albeit, frustratingly for the reader. by that I mean, I did not have a choice in whether I put these books down. as soon as I would become bored with present-day 'Knight,' I would flip to see a Jones/Day chapter. and on we go.
- Jewel writes the quirkiest characters and banter, and that's what really made authentic character relationships for me. when the Staples scene happened with Luke and Jessica, I had remembered Jackson having thought about missing the girl who loved Staples early on in the first book. That was an exciting connection to make as the reader and felt like a little treat put in there for all of us who appreciated Jessica's idiosyncrasies.
- I really appreciated Jackson's character development all throughout, at first it is happening behind the scenes of what has happened to our leading lady but it all comes to fruition in the last book. HOWEVER, Jackson and Jillian are supposed to have this kindred spirit type of relationship and I didn't like that he let her go when all of these sketchy things had been happening around their home in Omaha. Even if the situation justified some 'space' between them, the way that he completely let her go felt too out of character for the Jackson we have grown to love.
- I loved the integration of Lake in the last book, and her fleeting connection with Cage. I felt like that also helped bring some finality to AJ's story ending.
- Dr. Luke Jones. I rest my case.

the BAD
- I didn't find anything particularly 'bad' about any of these books, like some other reviews I have perused through, I did find some parts to be extremely slow in comparison to others. I wanted more happy-Luke-relationship-rebuilding but let's be honest, I just wanted more Luke in general
- I understood Jackson's instantaneous return to the life he wanted, but I wanted more resolution instead of an automatic "this complicated web of secrets that ruled the course of our lives is gone all of the sudden and now I can go choose whatever I want to do"

also Jewel, where have you been my whole life?
