I enjoyed it, but I definitely didn’t love it. I would have preferred the “Saving Savannah” version over the “Homewreckers” version, I think. The story had plenty of interest from the home restoration and the murder mystery without the (to me annoying) drama of the cliche shallow LA cutthroats.

 I did enjoy this book. The reason for the lower stars is simple... And a spoiler alert. Really, it will ruin the mystery and suspense. If you want to read the book- don't read this review.



Okay. A teacher has sex with a student. The author makes it clear the student is to blame. Bad student. Very bad. Its sick and I hated that we had to hear only good things about a grown, married woman who takes advantage of her position of power. The author actually had a character say "there wasn't that big of an age difference". Um excuse me?! Anyway, other than that it was a great book. Hard to put down and really does justice to the beautiful city of Savannah and of Tybee Island.

This book is a good summer read. An easy romance read with an HGTV spin and a little mystery.

This was a very enjoyable listen. The story was more mystery than rom-com which I always appreciate. The narration mainly was excellent except the female protagonist often sounded like a whiny little girl. I understand she's supposed to be insecure but I didn't enjoy the interpretation.
