I didn't really like the relationship and I don't think he truly loved her, I think he loved that she was like his ex

wow.

ok so another classic case of emotionally damaged boy, and girl who helps heal him. the only difference is she’s not annoying abt it. he’s one of those where you just want to hug them and not let them go, but ofc he wouldn’t allow that otherwise there’s be no book. the cover is genius and literally just so good. the callbacks and referenced lines throughout, amazing. just ya. rlly rlly good. very satisfying ending, no loose ends. only one character felt detailed enough, the other def could’ve used a bit more i think it would help their relationship feel a bit more real, and like it was based in more than just physical attraction. i didn’t feel a super strong connection to any characters, but i’m not too upset abt it, it was still overall rlly good.

A darn hard book to read. It made me shocked, a year 8 had been reading it in class and I'd said 'is this good? I'm thinking of reading it next'. God bless her this was not safe for work. It was smutty at its finest.

What I didn't expect was that you hated them both one for being in a toxic relationship and the other for being in an incestous one with his step-sister. And then they pull a hard-fast one at you at the end that cause you to fall in love with them.

I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I teared.

Cons:
Too much incest.

Review without spoilers: I didn't get the hype of the book but for some reason i wanted to keep on reading it. Yeah the title is correct. It's ugly love. I know the author tried to give us the message that love isn't only flowers and sunshines but she failed miserably.

Review with spoilers: Tate annoyed me so much. She knew what she was getting herself into. Her whole personality was Miles. I absolutely have no idea what she saw in a guy who fucked her and then sent her home with no aftercare afterwards. Miles treated Tate like shit however i cant trust people who compare Miles with Ryle. Miles was only emotionally abusive. He was giving Tate mixed signals the whole time. There was no chemistry between them. Miles will always love Rachel more. I feel bad for them both. Rachel was wrong but y'all have to realize she lost her son. However i hated how Miles never got closure. Also how could Tate forgive Miles for wishpering his ex's name during sex. Tbh i am disappointed.

It’s exactly what you’d ask for. Couldn’t get past the incesty plot line.
