This was super fast. It showed the world apart from the megastructure we first began in (as per my comprehension) plus the new characters are super intriguing! That cloning thing was horrific. There are new villains i think?? It felt short and harder to comprehend for some reason but i liked it nonetheless

Every volume feels like a step down from the last. Amazed there are still two more volumes to go. Equally amazed that this series may truly have zero themes, just lots of facts that I cannot begin to care about. So disappointing how little focus is given to the outrageous monster designs or fight scenes. Why would you draw a face that gross and only show it once???

The first half was pure action which for the most part didn’t even involve Kyrii or Cibo, so that was pretty unengaging, but the second half was fantastic! There was even a cool elevator!! I love a cool elevator!!! (The elevator is the reason why I rated this a 3 instead of a 2)

The sci-fi in this manga is seriously insane. It explores the atomic structures of human to the cosmic fibers of the universe that are important in this cloud-based system. I don't know if that makes sense. Anyway, the time and space in every stratum has its own set of rules that illustrates how gigantic and overreaching the world has come out.

Moreover, the transhuman qualities of the characters gives this eerie and nightmarish visual -- a kind of glimpse into the future of AI and singularity to humans. There's more into this one, and you're free to dive into those topics.

In here, both are struggling to exist; thus, one takes the path of annihilation and destruction to take control and survive.

The beginning is very slow, like noticeably slower than the first three books. It does pick up the pace and speed up about half way through book. This book is where Kyrii’s character development is most obvious. He is definitely more selfish in a way and is much quicker the kill. The author also introduces a few new characters which I enjoyed. I still love these books and will still be continuing the series.

I. cannot. stop. reading. There's a lot here that only improves as the mystery and Nihei's refusal to clue you in continues deeper and deeper. Love this.
