I love a good plot twist and this book definitely threw me for a loop! It added a little spice, but it was a little bit cringey. I'm not sure if that was intentional to show the character's naivety or if that is how Katerina always writes spicey scenes. Just like the first book, this one needed editing and we didn't get as much back story as I would have liked.

Faetastic!
Wow. Action. Subtle steam. More beautiful creations. Shocking revelations for Dee and the Prince. Anxiously awaiting book 3. Can't wait.

Dahlia gets sucked in more and more and things go downhill as she tries to survive. As Prince Cillian tries to control his fate. It was amazing and I liked it more than the first. Can't wait for the next one.

Can you like the second book more than the first? How can this book series be getting better? On the second installment of The Coldest Fae, we see our FMC developing and discovering things about herself. We can see her slowly building friendships and start trusting more. We can also see her developing steamy feelings for a certain prince, but things are still "not quite right" with this "relationship". At the end of this book we can see her transform into something else, becoming a bit of an bada$$ and going after what she really wants. In this book you will see magic, fighting, bullying and a really steamy situation. This is all for now, see you on book 3- Marked!!

This is a fun, well flowing series that hits all the right notes, and imbues plenty of humor along the way. The way she interacts with Mira and the other contestants alone is hysterical well worth the read.
