Really great book. Loved the focus on relationships we have with one another and the connections that bond us. Especially loved the female relationships depicted in this book. Will definitely be looking for more works by this author.

This was listed as insightful and funny but I see no signs of that. I see a modern woman placed in the 60s with an unwillingness to be challenged and a toxic obsession with food and her daughter’s development.

this book deserves every award it has and more.
i feel represented by Elizabeth Zott and also by the need to want to know someone who died more than you did when they were alive.

i’m so emotional.

Wow, I really enjoyed this book. I think people who enjoyed “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow” would like this.

Just know that it’s SAD. It’s literary fiction, NOT comedy or romance at all. And it begins with the memory of a workplace sexual assault. Check TWs.

It’s multi POV. I especially enjoyed the dog getting a POV too.
