As usual, Jennifer is very good with her plotlines, Can’t wait to read what happens next! Characters, not so much.

still good

Another enjoyable book in the series. Following Seth’s life is so entertaining. He is impulsive, arrogant, and follows the beat of his own drum. Not your typical hero, but still loveable despite all of his flaws.

Though this book was predictable, I did enjoy some of the humour. We've been with the characters for such a long time so I could appreciate the inside jokes and general sarcasm.
However the pregnancy thing felt so expected to me, as well as Josie being captured and dealing with PTSD.

As I've read a few of Armentrout's books, I know she seems to share a lot of the same plot points between novels, regardless of the series. It just makes the story boring and unoriginal. This series definitely offers entertainment, but this book wasn't worth the year wait - my anticipation dried up pretty quickly when I began the book and could see where it was heading straight off.
Meh. The book felt like a filler, with nothing but sex, torturous physical pain and repetitive proclamations of love carrying the plot.
I doubt I'll be carrying on with this series in the future, as it really has lost my interest and had no sense of realism for me.
