I love these precious, broken characters. They are each endearing in their own ways, (Agony especially). I’m gonna be honest, the crime-solving part of the plot kind of took a back seat in my mind; all I cared about was the romance and all of its angsty sexual tension, lol.
Pick this one up if you’re into the idea of a throuple involving a shape-shifting mass of shadows that can, ahem, accommodate a variety of needs. 😉
Graphic: Blood, Death, Fire/Fire injury, Injury/Injury detail, Violence, Religious bigotry, Death of parent, Murder, and Grief
Moderate: Child death and Kidnapping
Minor: Torture, Suicide, and Vomit

Skin was a great introduction to the characters, but Inextricably Tied brought me to my knees. Flint - the big protector, always keeping his emotions as buried as possible, the man who always has to have everything under control - gets stuck with not one but two temperamental brats. Harbinger is fighting her own battles and carrying so many traumatic memories - both hers and others'- is forced to learn to speak out. And Agony, that poor, lovable bastard, has to learn everything about himself and the world around him when all he knows so far of it is that it's full of terrible people.
And the three make such a fun triad to follow! Their banter is brilliant, Agony is the cheekiest and it drives Flint mad, but oh is it worth it to work each other up.
Graphic: Violence, Torture, Child death, and Death of parent
Moderate: Suicide and Child abuse
