The Lost Hero is the beginning of a crossover between Greek and Roman mythology and I absolutely love it. The parallels are evident and it's follows with the development in relationships between characters and new characters which I'm dying to read and meet again. Thank you Rick for these amazing stories

Another hit by the master himself!
I really thought I would struggle without Percy as our main force but Leo, Piper and Jason are just so loveable. I feel like they allow themselves to think and not just laugh or pull back when trauma is mentioned and that is something I hoped for Percy many times. Maybe they will grow with time together.
Just like always, the story is well written and well thought through, the battle scenes are a delight to read and the creatures, monsters and gods are compelling to read about. The topic of parental figures is relevant, probably even more than in PJO, which I am excited for and I am glad to see some old fandoms in the cast. The next adventure began and I think I am ready for it, even through our heroes seem not so sure about the ending this will all have...

Bit of a slow start, but we're getting there.
I read these books in high school, and my brain only remembers 4 books. It's because this one is just missing. Alas, like I said, we're getting there.
