This is the second book in Detective Robert Hunter series and I read the first book almost a year ago which I really enjoyed and since then my friend has been threatening me to pick up the next book but I finally got around to reading this one and God was it good!!
Chris Carter has just a way of keeping you hooked to the story the entire time. His writing and storytelling just sucks you into the world of book. The pace of the story was just so quick and the chapters were super short which made me keep reading more and more.
However, I have to say its the goriest I have ever read. The murders were horrifying and they were explained in so much detail that it made even me queasy which is something because I have listened to tons of true crime cases and quite gory ones too so I don’t get squeamish but this one was A LOT. Definitely not for the faint-hearted.
I seriously can’t wait to read the next book in the series and great news is that Chris Carter is coming out with a new book in this series next year I believe and I am so excited!

It was a good crime novel. Interesting serial killers, cops trying to find him and plenty of twists and turns.
I hope we see Molly in any of the following books.
4.5 stars!
Dark, gruesome, disturbing ... and I can't wait to pick up the next book in this series! But I will need to pick up some less horrifying reads first ^^

I read this soooo fast. Usually I am very slow reader but this book made me read it in 4 days!!!
3.5 ⭐️ I didn’t enjoy this one as much as the first, it took about 100 pages before I got into it. I enjoyed the story but some of the writing is falling a bit short for me.
