Ahhh I really wish there would of been no supernatural elements in this book. I absolutely do not like them in detective/crime novels. I love Chris Carters writing and I absolutely loved the main storyline of this book but I think the second story line (the one with supernatural happenings) was totally unbelievable and unnecessary. This would of been a five star if only for that!
I also wish Hunter & Garcia characters where built on a little bit more considering this was the second in the series there was no character development at all, and no mention of what happened to Garcia in the first book which surely should of had an impact on his character.
All over a 4 star for the gruesome and carefully plotted and thought out main storyline which kept me turning the pages.
