Be One with Me
Finding Love in Green Springs, Book 2
By: CA Miconi
Narrated by: Lacy Laurel, John Pirhalla

I love when a story I listen to is fresh and new. This is the second book in the Finding Love in Green Springs series and it's story is just that. It stands alone and will only make you want to go back and listen to book one! CA Miconi crafts a story around Sally. Finding out her father is alive on her mother's death bed has her searching for him. What she finds is an unexpected family that welcomes her with open arms. She also meets Nolan. The town mechanic, he rescues her when her car breaks down. This man is immediately attracted to Sally, but she wants no part of it. He has no intention of giving up on his "city girl" though. A slow burn, a mutual loss and a love of the town has this couple destined to be together. Or does it? Will Sally leave her home in Chicago? Will her friendship with Nolan turn into love? It's an easy listen with relevant issues and brings out the good in people. I really enjoyed this story, and now will go back to hear book 1!

Lacy Laurel narrates the role of Sally, and I absolutely loved her! She gives her that sassiness that Sally has, yet Laurel has a way of adding a layer of vulnerability into that sass. It makes Sally very realistic and brings her emotions to the surface. John Pirhalla is new to me, and I loved him! What a great accent he brings to his characters, and an ease only the south has with their cadence. I really enjoyed his portrayal of Sandy and Nolan. This is a wonderful love story and amazing listen!

This is the second book in the Finding Love in Green Springs series. We begin with Sally losing her mother and on her deathbed, she confesses that Sally's father is alive. Overwhelmed with her sudden loneliness and fear after being mugged, Sally leaves the big city, her successful business, and only life she has known in Chicago behind. Running from her past and towards a possible future with the father she believed was dead, she lands in Green Springs, Mississippi.

Nolan is a country boy through and through. He loves his small, southern town. As a successful business owner in the town his family came from, he would never be able to leave. Especially since he lost his wife. When Sally and Nolan met, the banter and chemistry are flying. Both refuse admit the attraction because how could these two completely opposite people have anything in common aside from losing someone they love.

I was so happy to read Sally and Nolan's story. We meet them in book one, and their fire was slowly burning through the page! I recommend reading book 1, but it is not required.

Be One With Me by C.A. Miconi is a small-town romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lacy Laurel and John Pirhalla. This is the second book in the Finding Love In Green Springs series.

This is the second book of C.A.’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I really enjoyed the sweet romance that grew between Sally and Nolan. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Finding Love In Green Springs so I can get Barbara Jeanne’s story.

Lacy and John did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you love sweet small-town romances.

Sally has just revieced some news which shocked her. Sally is dealing with the loss of her mother and finding others to fill this whole.Nolan is trying to find the woman of his dreams to settle down with. This is a lovely Romance book and a highly recommended reading pleasure.

To everybody on the outside, Sally has it all: she’s a businesswoman, a beautiful home, and great wealth at her fingertips but she’s lost her mom to cancer as she wants nothing but her daughter to settle down and start a family of her own. Now after being attacked violently and hearing her mom’s deathbed confession, Sally is on the run.
In a world opposite hers, Nolan has it all as an entrepreneur but in the country, he lives a comfortable life and with money at his disposable but he loses his wife to cancer when he’s ready to open his life to love again as he’s stable where he is in the life he’s got in the country.
Sally and Nolan come from opposite sides of the world and share in common losing loved ones to cancer. I loved how the two stories bring the characters together.

Super Sweet and Angsty

Be One With Me, my first read by CA Miconi, is a wonderfully written slow burn love story between Sallly and Nolan. What brought the magic and made it creditworthy was the narration by Lacy Laurel and John Pirhalla. Looking forward to the next book in this series. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer #PinkFlamingoProductions #AudiobookObsession #Flock

I really enjoyed book one in this series. This one seemed so different. I just didn’t really feel the connection and it seems more of a story about Sally’s life. Almost the romance is a secondary story. Sally and Nolan don’t really spend too much time together. She was sassy with him upon first meeting but after that it just went downhill.
The story by itself is nice. Chapters are relatively short but I did find myself drifting because I wanted to get back to the couple’s story. The characters just didn’t do anything for me. Secondary’s are better... we do get to see Meg and Drew again.

This is my first book by this author, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. It brings romance and heat to the story that pulls you in right from the beginning. This story will show you that sometimes even if you are opposites that you can still find a common ground and build a relationship. I had no problems connecting to the characters. They brought the story to life with each page I turned. Sally thought she had it all until she lost her mom to cancer and Nolan thought the same thing but he lost someone he loved. They are complete opposites but they have such chemistry that they heat up the pages. What will fate have in store for these two? Is it possible that they can build a relationship and find happiness they both deserve? This is a great romance story that I would highly recommend. I can’t wait to read more from this author for sure.
