I really tried to like it but I just couldn't get into it. It seemed like the story line was too slow. I didn't finish reading it.

About 50 pages into this book I found myself thinking about how saccharin quality of the dialogue. I kept reading in hopes that it would improve. It didn't.

My mom bought this book for me for christmas because I love to knit. The hardest thing about reading this book was I would get so excited about knitting that I would put the book down to work on a project. The story line is really cute and the characters are very diverse. A fun book

I think I'd give this one 3.5 because I did like the characters quite a bit and the writing (in particular, the dialogue) was solid. But the plot was a bit outlandish and the pacing was way off. What happened in the last sixth of the book should probably have taken place over half the book as not to be completely jarring. All that said, because I like the characters, I think I'll check out the sequel.

BUT this can't compare to Ann Hood's The Knitting Circle and was probably a rip off of Hood's outstanding work.

This would have been a DNF for me if it wasn’t chosen for book club. I didn’t like any of the characters and the primary character is a whiny fickle b####.

I enjoyed this book. The kind of chick lit that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy about friendships, rather than the kind where chicks are always stepping on each other's toes. Made me want to take up knitting and find my own club. :) Surprising ending too!
