The first two chapters of the novella were the same as the epilogue in Imagine Me. My problem with the story was that I didn't care about anyone. Their bad choices throughout the series burnt me out, so I ended up feeling indifferent towards them. I can acknowledge that this novella would be great for fans of the characters but it was boring for me.
The pacing of the novella was slow. It was from Aaron's perspective, and he was a bit unlikeable in this story to be honest. His lack of care for Kenji was rude and unnecessary, and he seemed to put his wedding at a higher priority than literally the world.
He needed to spend less time obsessing over Juliette and more time actually helping to save the world (not that he seemed to care about anything except having sex with Juliette). It was selfish and his woe-is-me attitude helped no one, especially not the ones actually trying to fix things.
Basically, this novella was boring and overly sexual and definitely not a dystopian. What a rubbish ending to the series.

It was just a resolution to things kind of. I like that you got to see Aaron’s pov and his insecurities/doubts come out. You don’t really gotta read it tho
