I truly just adore this series. It feels like love is imbedded in every panel. I loved seeing Coco and Agott's relationship in this volume. Agott's growth is so heartwarming to see. I love that even though she gets those thoughts of being threatened by Coco, she's choosing to not give into them. I also loved that she gave Coco a proper apology about the way she treated her. Seeing them both band together when Coco was dealing with a creative block was adorable. I also thoroughly enjoyed Coco defending Agott and complimenting her skill and dedication endless. Coco's spell for the process was amazing and seeing how Agott helped her out after made it even more stunning. I'm excited to see the spell Agott came up with. Also, looking forward to more backstory from her and her family.

I also really love that Master Qifrey noticed that Coco and Tartah have been acting weird and made a point to reach out to both of them. I secretly hope he will take Tartah on as an apprentice. I forgot about the King and his entire so seeing him with Lord Beldaruit was interesting but confusing. I'm nervous about the lengths that the king will go to get what he wants.

The ending was very ominous and I'm not sure what to expect for the next volume. I loved the bonus chapter following Master Olly and his own journey with a creative block.

COCO AND AGOTT 🔛🔝!!!!!
seriously though this volume was so fucking good. Art and paneling gorgeous and creative as always, character designs were amazing, the overall story progressing well, and I loved Coco and Agott. Discussion of creative block was a easier to deal with topic that worked well with the backdrop plot that’s getting more serious—once again applauding this series for seriously it takes children, and adults’ responsibility towards them. Great fucking volume!
