Oh my god Agatha Christie!!!! Yes I get it, such a satisfying who done it! I guessed one or two things right but there were so many times I thought I knew what was what and then suddenly I was clearly very wrong! Light and not too creepy or scary but more than enough intrigue to keep you turning pages!

I think this is my favourite Agatha Christie yet. It helped that it was set in a girls' boarding school, but even without that, it was perfect. I just love the way Christie writes. Her sense of humour is brilliantly dry, and I love the way she can describe a person or a room in a couple of sentences and give you an exact picture of that they look like. Other authors waste a page and a half on elaborate description and I'm still none the wiser.

Unfortunately not my favourite Poirot so far, mostly because Poirot didnt appear until about 75% into the book
Honestly this Agatha Christie is one that I don't have any real interest in. Maybe in the future I'll read it but... Just jewellery thievery isn't really interesting to me.
This was an interesting one, but don't expect to see Hercule Poirot until the very end. It does feel a little more disjointed than some Christies to me.
