I enjoyed reading the Poirot Murder Mystery, though I have to admit that it is not my favourite Christie. What I loved about it was the character plotting and development - I always find that Christie had a great talent, especially for that. Furthermore, I was fascinated that Poirot plays such a small, but important role in this story. However, many parts of the story seemed a little predictable, which suprised me, as Christie usually goes for plot twists. Even though there were some twists and turns and somewhat of an unexpected ending, I almost found it a bit underwhelming and unexciting. It is definitely worth a read, but there are much greater stories written by "the Queen of Crime".

Finally! An Agatha Christie novel with espionage that I actually found fun to read.

The first few chapters were honestly a bit confusing with the amount of characters but I ended up liking this whole novel. Having
more than one murderer
was expected but the reveal about it was unexpected (at least for me). The red herrings did their job and, as pompous as Poirot always is, his reveal at the end was actually satisfying (and not at all long winded like in other works).

The bit at the very end was the cherry on top. Navigating through the names and personalities in Cat Among Pigeons was well worth it.
