It's very cute and chill. A coming of self book of queer women and her friends needing a change in their life. I like this book it truly felt like something someone in the real world would or is doing. Its good, I kind of wish there was more friction but if you want a light-hearted book, this is it.

Eleanor (El) is hopelessly in love with her best friend, Ray. When an opportunity arises for El to move with Ray and two of their other close friends to a fixer upper house in the countryside, El makes the wild decision to go for it! Living with - but not BEING with - the girl you’ve been in love with for years who thinks of you only as a friend will be just fine, right? …Right??

Pay no attention to the amount of time it took me to read this book (I started a new job and had very little time to read) because when I tell you that I was hooked from the first page, I mean HOOKED. On the rare occasions that I had to sit down and read, I was just absolutely delighted by this story. I loved the writing style, I loved the premise, I LOVED El. I related to her so much that, on many occasions, reading her experience so many of the same things that I have been lately just made my heart ache.

Wild Things is charming, hopeful, and so funny. Highly recommend!
