This is a book about friendships, starting over and pining for a friend. El and a few of her friends purchase a home away the city and they learn to live their new life and homeowners. I enjoyed the diverse cast of characters which added a lot of life to the story. I found their life as homeowners more entertaining then the romance between El and Ray which felt took a back seat.

I really enjoyed this book. I audibly laughed and that doesn't happen very often. I read some reviews that said this book has been badly advertised and they're correct. This book is less of a romance and more of a girl trying to find herself alongside this romance plot. It is more based on friendship and being unhappy with your life. Honestly, El was so relatable to me.
I struggled to put this book down and I loved the main plot points.
