This book wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The characters were fun, but I was hoping to learn more about them through house renovation. I was also excited for this book because I love friends to lovers, but the unrequited love became tiring.

Well written book. And I liked the main character and her cast of friends. I just did not care about her romantic and could not figure out why she was so in love with her.

Yet another great book by Laura Kay, who is quickly becoming one of my favourite contemporary authors. With relatable well written characters and a fun premise (starting a gay farm commune!!) this book was fantastic from start to finish. My one dislike about this was that the resolution happened too easily/quickly and I felt like there could've been more communication.
