I CRIED READING THIS. This book grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. From the second you meet the characters, you're invested, and the emotions are raw. Fantastic stuff.

I just had a feeling that Memory was special in ways we haven't seen yet, I love that it was Alexei that helped but also caught her eye.

I loved the back and forth between these two it made for a very interesting listen and I was rooting for them. More for Memory because riling up her grumpy wolf was funny but it also made Alexei more likable.
I hate that they both have this tragic past but the fact that they help each other well it makes my heart happy.

Again I loved the narration.
I want to see someone with a human next please!!

I love this series so very much. Even after however many entries, it never fails to rivet me, the fiendish obstacles Nalini dreams up are always so compelling and I adore seeing how they'll be overcome. In this book, we get a wonderful exploration of feminine rage, it's hard not to wonder if recent world events inspired the gloriously furious Memory. And I am very partial to fictional brooders, so Alexei in all his growling glory was a treat. Their romance was incredibly sweet and I hope these two pop up again in the future.

But seriously Nalini, where are all the Psy-Human love stories? Literally the stakes couldn't get much higher. We're moving house soon so I'll be unpacking all my books and I might celebrate with rereading some of my favourites from this series once they are freed from the garage. Wonderful as always.

War. Das. GUT!
