For interests sake I finished most of the book. It is quite repetitive of his other books. There is some science and lots of recipes which I find are a waste of time - the ingredients being expensive and hard to come by where I live. Nevertheless, I did learn a lot.
Probably the best book out there about how to tackle your diabetes using just you, your food, and lifestyle changes!
I'm always on the lookout for books about diabetes as my husband is Type-2 diabetic, and this book had lots of clear information and best of all, provided a sustainable plan that doesn't leave a person feeling deprived or like they're missing out on life.
Can even be applied to non-diabetics, and even just a few tweaks from this book and not the whole hoop-la is bound to produce results.

I wish just reading this book was enough to make me lose weight!!! It's a very easy to read explanation of the science behind a very low calorie (low carb but not low fat) diet and how it can really help your blood sugar levels. There are also same great recipes included as well as exercise tips.
It's surely a great read for somebody who want to loose weight effectively and wants to control the blood sugar problems. The author backs up his theory with substantial amount of data and empirical reasoning. It can really be a game changer for transforming lives.
I don't have diabetes or a blood sugar problem and bought this book purely out of interest after reading a recent article about this author/doctor's work in The Daily Mail.

Apparently if you starve yourself, you will lose weight. No s### Sherlock. But Michael Mosley manages to make the obvious interesting.
