We are living in a consumerist society and not only it creates so much waste and it affects the environment in so many awful ways, but it also impacts us directly by creating clutter (mental and physical) and by always striving to get that new shiny gadget or whatnot.
The mini-book isn't a revelation necessarily, because most of minimalism isn't actually a new, improved way of living, but something that a lot of people are doing for millennia: mindfulness.
Some of the practical ways to achieve this are present, though, and it's a really great guide for some people that feel something is wrong about their possessions, but don't know what.

Rather than filling your life with material possessions, be it new or old stuff, make sure that each piece has a purpose. Don't get a new phone just because a new model it's available, but try to stick with your "old" one, or repair it if needed. Don't buy 10 pairs of H&M pants that are going to break first time being used, to use a different one each week, but embrace a good quality pair and use it until it cannot be repaired anymore, maybe even a decade later. Same goes for anything. Be it material possessions or emotional clutter.

I think it‘s a great book, even it‘s saying things, we (or at least I) don‘t wanna hear. I think sometimes it‘s too extrem, but they say, that that is their perspective and way how they do minimalism and we don‘t have to do that.
Would recommend it:)
