This is not really a thriller. I don't know what category to put it in and when books don't fit neatly into a genre people tend to be overly critical. I would call this contemporary fiction? It's enjoyable, a good beach read in my opinion. I do feel like the plot has borrowed a little too much from Big Little Lies. But overall it's a fun read.

Think what would happen if some Real Housewives got mixed up into trouble. Catty, glamorous, and funny all wrapped up in this thriller. The author was able to add in pop culture references here and there without being cringy and the short chapters made it so easy to want to keep reading.
