I liked this book quite a bit. Usually with multi pov books I find myself never in the pov of the person I actually want to hear from, but didn't experience that in this book at all. Looking back I should have figured out the ending sooner, and I was still somewhat surprised. There were some things at the end that felt unnecessary and others that could have had more depth. Not my favorite ending but the buildup was solid and the author was able to get me to root for some characters I initially hated (in that "love to hate" kind of way.
except Oliva, I hate hated her all the way through
). Overall pretty fun book, as much as you can call a book about murder and terrible people fun.

This follows the 'frenemy' group of women in Buckhead, with the premise that one of them is going to wind up dead at the end of this story. The plot was dramatic and juicy.

Cons:
* The majority of these characters are off the scale unlikable
* A lot of the plot twists were predictable
* It dragged on, and could have been a bit quicker paced

I would skip this and go read "Big Little Lies" instead because that had way more drama and intrigue, and the characters were actually fleshed beyond just being rich and deluded.

Pro:
* Alternating POVs between chapters
* The audio book did a great job differentiating between the different characters

This audiobook took me forever to read, which is weird because I was enjoying it.

I jusy love reading about rich people drama. The beginning of this was really good and I was interested, but then in the middle I was kind of bored because it just felt repetitive. I wish there was more present chapters because I would honestly forget that someone was killed. *slight spoiler* Then the last little bit was actually shocking because I didn’t expect such a dark topic to be in this.

I've never watched Real Housewives but I expect this was like that. If you want to read about rich white housewives being really bitchy friends with each other, with a whole lot of drama, a whole lot of drinking. (There was SO MUCH DRINKING), and a light sprinkling of murder, this is the winner.

I had to take a few breaks because these women were such bitches. But then sometimes I couldn't stop reading.. because these women were such bitches. It was super easy to hate them all. Beautiful, rich, and just terrible. You're all just terrible, terrible people. (Okay, thankfully they weren't ALL 100% terrible 100% of the time so that was a plus.)

The constant teasing of the murder that will happen SOON! SOON! Maybe!?! got a little too heavy handed. Plus there are SO MANY CHAPTERS, and a lot of them liked to end with a hint of death, like, hey don't forget! Someone dies! Yes, I *know*.

The chapters constantly change perspectives and times, and it will give you some whiplash. But if that's your thing, and hey, it's mine, it's a fun read.

May we be blessed with fun books about mean rich bitches and never have to deal with them IRL.

I think the main downside is that by the time they finally revealed who was murdered, I didn't even care anymore about the how or why. Olivia's dead? Okay cool. That's all that matters. Who cares about the details? My brain was skimming through the final chapters because it was just one long epilogue that didn't matter to me anymore because that bitch be dead! Ding dong! Dead! Good.

The slowest burn I've ever read from a thriller. Only picked up at the 7 hour mark. Which is a little unfortunate that you spend 7 hours listening to only get 2 hours of intriguing action.
